I hope Sharon’s peps have thought this through. I like everyone else dislike the high prices. Here’s the "but": When I pay for my ticket, this is what I expect.

Security! Secure parking with attendance. First aid. Clean bathrooms.
Musicians that show up and put on a good show, (cause they gettin paid).

What I don’t want for free.

People that just show up for free. Metal and hardcore shows can be hazardous to your health. Adding those unknowing people will create more fights and injuries.

Knuckleheads showing up to sell their trinkets because they got in free.
What about druggers buying and selling, they care less about the show.

The true fans will ultimately miss out on tickets to let others get in for “free”.

See ya at the show.

Well, here is the business tactic used, it's called a loss leader. Better to have a "full" concert with people freely spending on food, T-shirts, albums, etc. because they saved on the ticket price than to have half empty or canceled shows it appears.

WOW….where does one begin to analyze this move? You have an organization with a great brand and normally a very solid line-up, if that’s your music and a company with a reputation for promoting worldwide. My dad taught me many things. The one thing that I try to pass along in business and to others….nothing is free.
So, we will wait to see the reviews of what exactly you get for free. I mean George, half-price tickets for all those who ordered online would have caused a buzz as heavy as the FREE, don’t you think?

Great job with the blog! Keep it up!
