DigiTech DigiTruck Hits the Road

NAMM SUMMER SESSION, AUSTIN, TX — DigiTech®, a leading manufacturer of guitar and bass multi-effects processors, and a Harman International (NYSE-HAR) company, announces that the DigiTruck, a 53-foot tractor trailer outfitted as the ultimate luxury tour bus and high-tech performance space all rolled into one, continues to tour the country this summer showcasing the complete range of DigiTech guitar and signal processing products. The DigiTruck first made its debut in October at the Guitar Center store grand opening in Salt Lake City, winning over its audience with a wealth of impressive features.
The mammoth vehicle is fitted with all the trimmings any band would want on the road, including a swank lounge, full showers and sleeping areas. Also packed into this road warrior is the full line of DigiTech products, set up to display and demonstrate their own power as the DigiTruck makes its rounds across the United States, stopping at major MI retail chains and independent stores, carrying the message that DigiTech products can help take any artist wherever they want to go.
The DigiTruck recently began its busy summer touring schedule, complete with the Travis Larson Band, having just completed a very successful 10-date tour of the Northwest starting in DigiTech‘s home-town of Salt Lake City, traveling on to Reno, Northern California, Oregon and Washington. The truck is currently on tour in Colorado hitting all the metro markets right down through Colorado Springs. But a highlight of this summers run, will be at the Eric Clapton Crossroads Guitar Festival, held in Chicago on July 28th, where the DigiTruck will be parked in the festival‘s Music Village. On hand will be DigiTech product specialists who will be showcasing and allowing visitors to try the company‘s renown Crossroads™ Limited Edition Artist Series Effects Pedal that was designed in conjunction with Eric Clapton and his long-time guitar technician Lee Dickson. In August, the DigiTruck will be heading to the East Coast stopping in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware and Maryland following a string of dates at Daddy‘s Junky Music and Sam Ash in the New England Area.
The DigiTruck has a unique 22.5 X 8-foot stage that unfolds from the rear of the vehicle. In addition to the complete range of DigiTech products, this performance space is powered by a full array of Harman products to support live shows, including JBL Professional® speakers, AKG® microphones, Crown® amplifiers, and dbx® Professional Products, Lexicon Pro™ and BSS Audio™ sound and signal processing.
“We‘re out all over the country this summer spreading the love of DigiTech,” says Paul Muniz, Director of Artist Relations for DigiTech and the Product Specialist supervising the operations of the DigiTruck. “This is an elaborate marketing tool — one that gets the message across in an incredibly unique and powerful way, and gets mindshare as well as attention. Visitors are able to experience DigiTech products in an up-close-and-personal way while also being treated to some great music by great musicians.”
