SEOUL, KOREA, JULY 18, 2008—A recent installation of Aviom gear at the University of Ulsan ice rink proves that you don’t have to sacrifice sound quality when transporting audio over long distances. The Korean university wanted a way to send audio from its radio station/studio to remote clusters of speakers in its ice rink over a stretch of some 500 feet/150 meters. Transporting audio signals over such an expanse without sacrificing quality often presents system designers and contractors with a challenge and end users with expensive options.
