Long Island Campus Boasts Progressive Audio Recording Curriculum

Long Island’s Five Towns College has chosen 16 TELEFUNKEN Elektroakustik microphones for it’s state-of-the-art recording studios and sound stages for film and television. The college was founded in 1974 and is one of the few institutions across the U.S. to offer a Doctor of Musical Arts degree.
John Machado, co-chair of the audio division, remarked, “These microphones have brought a new level of recording quality to Five Towns College. Their incredible sound has been evident since the first use. We have bench tested them against all our other microphones and the superiority is evident with each test. Providing system designers and integrators with leading amplifier technology and unmatched technical knowledge and support, Crown International is offering two online seminars focused on network design for audio projects.
