Co-Founder Robert Fripp Upmixes with Engineer Simon Heyworth
King Crimson, respected pioneer of British progressive rock, is remastering and releasing their catalogue in 5.1 audio and has used PenteoSurround processing. The group’s co-founder Robert Fripp chose Simon Heyworth to master the project at his Super Audio Mastering studios in southwest England. Engineer Steven Wilson re-mixed the album in 5.1 audio from original multitrack masters, except for a few crucial tracks available only in stereo. more

Premier Sound Services of Baton Rouge, Louisiana recently provided the sound reinforcement system for a Lionel Richie concert as part of the Our Lady of the Lake Foundation’s 25th anniversary benefit gala. The system featured a variety of audio products from Harman Professional, including a Soundcraft Vi6 digital console at the front-of-house position. The concert took place at the Baton Rouge River Center and served to raise money for the Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center. more
