Los Angeles, March 28, 2011 — Independent publishing and licensing company pigFACTORY Music, whose roster includes recordings and songs by artists such as Fatboy Slim, Iggy Pop, and Joan Jett & The Blackhearts, has signed multi-talented writer CJ Vanston. The announcement was made today by Keatly Haldeman, CEO, pigFACTORY Music.
Said Mr. Haldeman, â€œCJ Vanston is a multi-Grammy Award nominated producer, film composer, keyboard player and songwriter. He is the keyboardist in Spinal Tap and has just co–written and produced the lead single for the upcoming Def Leppard album. Are you kidding? Weâ€™re thrilled to have him in the pigFACTORY family (as he bangs his head and throws up devil-horns)!â€?

Providing sound reinforcement for a star-studded event featuring some of the biggest names in rock and roll, Red Hook, New York-based Firehouse Productions supplied Crown I-Tech HD Amplifiers and JBL VERTECÂ® line array loudspeakers for the 2011 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Ceremony, staged on March 14, 2011 at the famed Waldorf Astoria Hotel in New York City.
The event featured performances by some of the inductees including Bruce Springsteen, Judy Collins, John Mayer, and Elton John. Alice Cooper, Tom Waits, Dr. John, Neil Diamond, and Darlene Love were also among those inducted at the ceremony. All inductees are ultimately enshrined in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum in Cleveland, Ohio, which exists to educate its audiences on the global impact of the rock and roll art form.

Ensuring that Puerto Ricoâ€™s annual Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure was once again a success, leading audio supply company Rickyâ€™s Audio Corporation recently deployed HARMAN JBL VerTecÂ® and VRX line array systems. The event was held at the Coliseum of Puerto Rico in San Juan to benefit and raise awareness for breast cancer research. The audio system supported a talented lineup of musical artists, entertaining more than 15,000 participants walking and running to celebrate and remember those affected by the illness.
The main stage featured 22 JBL VerTec VT4888DP midsize powered line array elements equipped with JBL DrivePackÂ® technology, supplying clarity and high output from four separate array locations arranged to cover 270 degrees around the stage.
