The Chris Lennertz score for the animated feature “Hop” has been mixed by Jeff Vaughn in Record One/Ocean Way’s renowned Studio A. The room has a lustrous past, home to hits by countless producers, including Quincy Jones and Dr. Dre.
Composer Chris Lennertz, who also scored “Cats & Dogs,” “Meet the Spartans,” and “Alvin and the Chipmunks,” commented on his sessions, “Mixing at Record One was a dream. The gear and crew were fantastic and helped me bring my music to life. What a great room!”

Black Toast has placed a piece of instrumental jazz music, entitled “A Flapper On Broadway,� in the new, upcoming Warner Bros. comedy film, “Arthur� starring Russell Brand. The song is a fun, upbeat, 20’s style jazz piece performed by String Planet, reminiscent of the music heard in many films by Charlie Chaplin and Laurel and Hardy.
