CINCINNATI, Ohio — Celebrated actor and director George Clooney recently spent several months in Ohio and Michigan shooting scenes for The Ides of March, a new film scheduled to premiere later this year. Both starring and directed by Clooney, The Ides of March is based on Beau Willimon’s play, Farragut North, about a governor campaigning in the presidential primaries.
Bill Deavers of Cincinnati-based Loud & Clear, Inc. was hired by the film’s production team to serve as a political consultant and provide sound reinforcement for the pivotal Democratic debate scene, which was filmed in early March at Miami University’s Hall Auditorium in Oxford, Ohio.
