Crown Audio’s Gerald Stanley
ELKHART, Indiana â€” Gerald Stanley, senior vice president of research and development at HARMANâ€™s Crown Audio, is celebrating 45 years of service with the company. One of the leading authorities in amplifier design in the professional audio industry, Stanley is responsible for 42 patents during his tenure with Crown.
Stanley joined Crown part-time in 1964 while still an undergraduate at Michigan State University and served as a tape recorder line technician, draftsman, and amplifier design engineer. In 1966, he returned after completing a graduate degree at the University of Michigan and went on to work full-time on designing tape recorder electronics and power amplifiers.

BUENA PARK, Calif.â€”Hard-hitting rock acts performed at the first ever Carolina Rebellion Festival that took place on May 7 at the Metrolina Expo in Charlotte, North Carolina. Co-produced by Right Arm Entertainment and AEG, over 35,000 fans throughout the Carolinas and the mid-Atlantic were treated to a full day of non-stop rock on two side-by-side stages. Performers consisted of My Darkest Days, Cavo, Saving Abel, Halestorm, Hinder, Skillet, Alter Bridge, Bullet for My Valentine, Theory of a Deadman, Seether, Stone Sour, Three Days Grace, Godsmack, Avenged Sevenfold, and more.
