Martin Audio W8LC Arrays Cover The Crowds At Fair St. Louis Concerts Under The Arch
St. Louis, MO––The Fair Saint Louis Foundation has held a special celebration featuring live music, air shows, and spectacular fireworks displays on the grounds of the 90-acre Jefferson National Expansion Memorial under the iconic Gateway Arch every July 4th holiday since 1981.
Known as “America’s Biggest Birthday Party� and held for three successive nights up through the 4th, this year’s get-together featured the Steve Miller Band, Maroon Five and Montgomery Gentry. Produced by Mike Kociela at Entertainment Saint Louis, St. Louis’ own Stanco Productions handled sound, lights & I-Mag video under the leadership of Technical Director Sam Wehrmeyer.

HOUSTON, TEXAS — Underscoring its commitment to the Houston-area music industry, Wire Road Studios recently expanded both its space and services by opening a brand new, 5,000-square-foot world-class studio in the historic Heights district of Houston, Texas. The company moved its operations from a smaller project-based studio to a vast state-of-the-art facility that boasts two recording studios, a video editing suite and an impressive production studio.
Wire Road Studios, which made its debut in 2009, emerged from the collaborative efforts of accomplished musician and engineer James Kelley and his father, Byron Kelley. WEBSTER, NEW YORK – AUGUST 2011: Namesake of famous statesman and orator Daniel Webster, the tranquil town of Webster, New York is the fastest growing suburb of nearby Rochester. The town lives up to its motto, “where life is worth living,” in part by supporting a top-tier school system. Recently, a voter-supported capital project to revitalize the aging components of the school system’s infrastructure provided the means to update the A/V systems in three area schools. Both high schools (Thomas and Schroeder) and one middle school (Spry) benefitted from state-of-the-art installations that center on Ashly Audio processors and amps. Duality Used for Teaching Traditional Analogue Recording Techniques with DAW Capture and Control
LEIPZIG, GERMANY – The Media Centre, a part of the Faculty of Media at HTWK Leipzig (Leipzig University of Applied Sciences), has installed a 48-channel Solid State Logic Duality console in its CampusStudios. Degree programs involve the integration of general media literacy all under one roof, offering a convergence of applied class work in the print media, publishing, film, television/radio, music production and new media disciplines. Duality allows the university to teach traditional, high-level analogue recording and routing techniques with DAW capture and control.
