Oink Ink Delivers Another Holiday Video for Accountemps/Robert Half

2011 animated web spot is Oink’s second for financial staffing firm

Oink Ink and Accountemps ended the year on a festive note with the unveiling of their second holiday video, created specifically for viewers on the web. Once again, Accountemps came to Oink Ink with high expectations—entrusting them to conceive and execute the massive project from beginning to end. The final product represents the labors and input of writers, singers, animators, composers and producers, all led by Oink’s veteran creative director Jim Price.

Building on the success of last year’s whimsical video that features Bob, the star accountant who rescues an overworked office from mountains of year-end paperwork, 2011’s video features a cast of singers who erupt with cheer when an Accountemps pro once again shows up to save the day. With a version of “Deck the Halls” composed especially for Accountemps and the same lively, memorable animations that netted 2010’s video nearly 90,000 YouTube views, this year’s video serves up a welcome dose of holiday warmth and energy.

After settling on a final concept generated by its corps of writers, Oink assembled an exceptional team including Academy Award-nominated animator Bill Plympton to bring the production to life. Oink’s sister recording and casting studio, Verbatim, also recruited five of New York’s most expert voice actors and singers to depict the year-end chaos in the office—and the joy when all that work is finally done.

Accountemps also commissioned Oink to cast and produce a version of the 2011 video with British singers for the audience on the other side of the Atlantic. And yet another animated short for the firm is on the way—just the latest entry in Oink’s growing portfolio of work for television and the web.

“Accountemps has kept us busy, and we can’t complain,” said Jim Price, Oink’s creative director. “We’re pretty flattered by the freedom they allow us—and we’re looking forward to whatever comes next.”

EDA PRO GROUP NAMED SYMETRIX U.S. REP OF THE YEAR FOR SECOND CONSECUTIVE YEAR

SEATTLE, WASHINGTON – NOVEMBER 2011: Symetrix announced that EDA Pro Group, LLC of Snellville, Georgia earned its “Fiscal Year 2011 U.S. Representative of the Year Award” for the second year in a row. EDA Pro Group represents Symetrix products in the southeastern United States and has consistently returned sales well beyond expectation.

“Symetrix makes technology that wins bids for integrators,” said EDA Pro Group President Mark Adams. “That puts us in the enviable position of providing, rather than pushing, solutions that excite our clients. In the past few years, Symetrix has been rolling out one hit after another. The simplicity and power of the Jupiter line continues to reinvent the small- to mid-size installation market, and the new open-architecture Solus line is doing the same for installations requiring more customized processing. But the biggest buzz is Symetrix ARC-WEB user interface. It allows users to control their Jupiter and Zone Mix 761 systems from their smartphones, which delivers a bid-winning combination of practicality and wow-factor.”

“We’re proud to have an impressive network of Symetrix sales rep firms around the country,” said Paul Roberts, director of sales and marketing for Symetrix. “Thus, winning our U.S. Representative of the Year Award two years in a row is a reflection of EDA Pro Group’s truly phenomenal performance. We appreciate their efforts and look forward to continued success in the coming year.”
